Ganeyeast

Ganeyeast is a fermentation starter for the post-harvest process of coffee which is developed from yeast isolates that are naturally found in coffee cherries. There are several yeast variants isolated and developed, each packaged specifically for the area of origin of the isolate, namely the islands of Sumatra, Java, Bali and Sulawesi. The use of fermentation starter can minimize the risk of post-harvest failure; produce a more consistent product; and also enhances the distinctive taste of the coffee fruit by helping to produce flavor and aroma precursors. This starter can be used in various post-harvest methods, such as natural, wet or hybrid. This product is in dry form, so it can be stored longer and sent to farther places

Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO)
Development Team: Prof. Dr. Pingkan Aditiawati, Dr. Dea Indriani Astuti

The VCO produced by the SITH-ITB development team has undergone a fermentation process to obtain virgin coconut oil which contains short to medium chain fatty acids. VCO products with controlled fermentation (standardized) have many benefits that have also been tested, such as: accelerating cell regeneration, accelerating wound healing, containing antioxidants which play an important role in human health.

Profeed (Probiotic Feed Supplement)

Profeed is a feed supplementation product in aquaculture systems such as tilapia, white shrimp, and more. In Profeed, there are more than 5 types of probiotic bacteria that play a role in increasing immunity and absorption of nutrients by cultivated animals. Consequently, the provision of Profeed can increase the resistance of cultivated animals to disease threat.

Feroklat (Fermented Chocolate)
Development Team: Prof. Dr. Pingkan Aditiawati, Dr. Eng. Kamarisima, Dr. Neil Priharto, Dzulianur Mutsla, M.T.

Feroklat is a chocolate product made from cocoa beans which is fermented in a controlled system so that it has a dominant chocolate and bitter taste with added aromas of fresh fruit, dried fruit, and nuts. Feroklat is an alternative for people who want chocolate products with a unique flavour.

Feroffee (Fermented Coffee)

Feroffee is a coffee product from coffee beans that undergo a second fermentation in a controlled system. Feroffee delivers coffee with a high and consistent taste rating and has a lower caffeine score than unfermented coffee.

Synbiotic Feed (Pakan Supplementasi Sinbiotik)

The feed with synbiotic supplementation produced by the SITH ITB development team contains probiotics, i.e. Halomonas sp. and Bacillus sp. as well as red algae prebiotic Kappaphycus alvarezzi and microalgae Spirulina sp. Synbiotic feed products can increase the growth and survival of shrimp, as well as resistance to bacterial infections including those caused by Vibrio sp. The use of synbiotic feed can be an alternative disease control strategy in achieving an environmentally friendly and sustainable shrimp industry with high productivity,
